The iQOO Neo 8 series is arriving next week, and the Neo family will have a Pro model for the first time. The device will run on Dimensity 9200+, and today the company revealed the V1+ ISP will be assisting a 50MP main camera with Sony IMX866 sensor and OIS.

The primary shooter can easily be graded as flagship-tier because the sensor is also inside the iQOO 11 Pro and the vivo X90. It's a 1/1.49" imager with 1.0µm pixels and f/1.75 lens in front.

The vivo brand shared some camera samples, revealing stunning details in four different scenarios - daylight still object, daylight with a moving object, night mode of a single object and night mode of the Central district of Hong Kong and Victoria Harbour. However, since the images were posted on social media, compression makes analysis pointless.

The iQOO Neo 8 Pro is coming with 16 GB LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.0 storage. The promo images of the phone revealed a red leather back, which will be the hero color of the series. However, it is highly unlikely to escape China, given previous instances with vivo keeping fancy back panels exclusive to the domestic market.

For the selfie camera? I think getting a very good main camera is good enough for this type of phone. At least it should be better than other phones in the category cor the main camera. The other cameras will be poor alright

But it has still 16mp samsung sensor. Which has no upgrade.
