Jaipur: Chief minister
Ashok Gehlot has approved a proposal to open homoeopathic dispensaries at 225 block headquarters across the state.
The new dispensaries will develop a robust network of homeopathic dispensaries and will also generate employment for homeopathy doctors and other staff, an official statement said. Approval has also been granted for the creation of 450 new posts for these dispensaries. One homoeopathy medical officer and one junior nurse or compounder will be appointed in each dispensary. The state government will procure equipment and furniture for the dispensaries, for which Rs 1.8 crore has been sanctioned.
With the decision, homoeopathic treatment will be available to people. In the 2023-24 Budget, the CM had announced to open a homeopathic dispensary in each block. TNN
