I would like to share the ownership experience of my dad's favourite car.
Details:
- Year - 2013
- Model - Renault Scala
- Variant - RxL
- Odometer reading - 3,20,000 km
We have owned multiple cars over the last 20 years, but this one is something special for us. I will share our experience category-wise.
- Comfort - Amazing leg room for the segment and called a mini S- Class; very comfortable for long drives, but seat cushioning is average.
- Fuel efficiency - Guaranteed 20+ km/l; not below that from our experience.
- Suspension - Overall, good in conditionsOver
- Driving dynamics - Has body roll; decent amount of brake bite.
- Huge boot
- Decent A/C cooling
- Going beyond 120 km/h is a little risky due to the lengthy body structure
Coming the to maintenance part:
- No fuel injectors have been replaced so far
- No ABS sensors replaced
- Clutch plate changed twice
- Suspension changed twice
- Alternator changed once
- A/C reworked
- Frequent oil changes and changes of other filters
