Bollywood actor Parineeti Chopra and AAP MLA Raghav Chadha got engaged on May 13. The couple shared stunning pictures from the ceremony and made their relationship official.

Chopra and Chadha on Monday penned a thank you note from their well-wishers and media friends for cheering them throughout. Sharing the note on social media, the actor said Raghav and her are overwhelmed with the love and positivity they were showered with over the past few weeks, especially on their engagement day.

She continued that they both come from different worlds and their worlds unite with their union. She further said they both are touched by everything they read and saw as they embark on their new journey.

Concludingly, Parineeti gave a shout-out to their media friends for being there through the day and cheering for them.

On Saturday, the new couple shared pictures of their engagement ceremony. The couple was seen all decked up in Manish Malhotra’s outfits. Chopra wore an ivory blush kurta complemented with pearl-adorned flared trousers. She paired her outfit Manish Malhotra’s ethereal signature Kashmiri threadwork dupatta with an idyllic engagement ensemble jewellery.

Raghav Chadha sported a white kurta with an ivory blush kerchief.

Parineeti Chopra and Raghav Chadha’s engagement was attended by politicians like Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann, and several others. Singer Mika Singh was seen performing at the ceremony and the videos of the couple grooving to it were widely circulated on social media.

The global star and Tisha’s cousin, Priyanka Chopra Jonas, also arrived at the engagement ceremony that took place at Kapurthala House in New Delhi. The ceremony was a low-key affair with close friends and families.

The rumours of the couple dating started when they were spotted together for the first time at a restaurant in Mumbai.

Aashka Goradia, who rose to fame with Bigg Boss Season 6, announced her pregnancy with her husband Brent Goble after six years of marriage. Aashka, who is also an entrepreneur, and her husband Brent are embracing parenthood for the first time.

Taking to Instagram, the 37-year-old actor posted a card in which it was written, Beach baby is on the way. We are waiting for the greatest gift to arrive in November 2023. Send us your love, Aashka and Brent.

Aashka is known for her work in television shows such as Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi, Kkusum, Laagi Tujhse Lagan, and Maharana Pratap, Naagin. The actor has also participated in reality shows such as Khatrin Ke Khiladi Season 4, Bigg Boss Season 6, and Nach Baliye 8.

Aashka is currently running her own business Renee, a cosmetics brand. She juggles between Goa and Ahmedabad for work. She lives with her husband Brent in Goa who runs a successful yoga studio there. The couple reportedly met in Las Vegas and it was love at first sight for them. The two got married in 2017.

Singer Papon was recently admitted to Mumbai’s Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital after falling sick. He shared the news on his social media and mentioned that his 13-year-old son chose to stay by his side at the hospital and looked after him.

The singer, in a post on Instagram, said he doesn’t like posting such incidents on social media but the last night was different as it was for the first time when his 13-year-old son decided to be the night attendant at the hospital.

He continued that it was an emotional moment and he wanted to share it with his friends and well-wishers. He also remembered the times he would do the same for his parents and wished they were around to see their grandson taking his turn already.

Born as Angaraag Mahanta, Papon lent his voice to multiple songs in Assamese, Bengali, Hindi, Tamil, and Marathi languages. He started his singing career in 1998 with the Assamese song Nasaba Sokule. He went on to sing for Bollywood and made his debut with Om Mantra for the film Strings-Bound By Faith.

He rose to prominence with songs like Hamari Adhuri Kahani’s Humnava, Kyun from Barfi, Bulleya from Sultan, Moh Moh Ke Dhage from Dum Laga Ke Haisha, Jiyein Kyun from Dum Maro Dum, and several others.

In 2018, Papon landed in a controversy after his Facebook live-streaming wherein he was seen putting colours and kissing an 11-year-old girl contestant of The Voice India Kids went viral. The Assam State Commission for Protection of Child Rights registered a case against him following which the parents of the minor girl denied allegations against the singer.

Later, he made an exit from the TV reality show.
