ISC, ICSE results: City schools excel with good marks

Thiruvananthapuram: City schools fared well in the ICSE and ISC results which were declared on Sunday.
Sarvodaya Vidyalaya achieved a 100% pass rate in the exams. In ICSE (Class X) exams Somanshu Saha of the school secured third rank at the state level (99.2%).
Eirene Elizabeth Anil (98.8%) secured the second position at the school level and third position was shared by Sarah Susan Varghese and Sanil Saha (98.6%).
Out of the 203 students who appeared for the ICSE examination, 182 secured distinction.
In the ISC stream (Class XII) 96 students had appeared for the exams from the school. Among them, 78 students have secured distinction.
Hashna Shabi S (99.25%), bagged first rank at the state level and third rank at the national level. Diya A (97.7%) and Diya S (97.5%) secured second and third position respectively in the school level.
L'école Chempaka Silver Rocks, Edavacode, also secured 100% results in the exams.
Out of the 55 students who appeared for the ISC exams, 44 secured distinction and nine got first class.
Out of the 143 students who appeared for the ICSE exam, 115 got distinction and 24 secured first class.
