Assam Rifles safely rescue 45 visually impaired students from parts of violence-hit Manipur

Assam Rifles on May 14 successfully rescued forty-five visually impaired students from parts of violence-hit Manipur. The students belonged to Mission Blind School. The rescue mission was initiated at the request of K Parenag Kom, Principal of Mission Blind School. All the rescued students and the school staff were escorted to the Kakching garrison. They are being provided with shelter, food and medical assistance.
