Training for officers on cybercrime

Ranchi: As many as 53 government officers including IPS officers, public prosecutors, Dy SPs, inspectors and sub-inspectors are attending a five-day training programme on cybercrime and its prevention at the Investigation Training Institute in Hotwar. Several personnel are also participating in the programme online, sources said. The session, which had started on Friday, was formally inaugurated by Director General Criminal Investigation Department Anuraag Gupta on Saturday. Speaking on the occasion, Gupta opined that internet is a great leveller and a person of any rank can utilize this facility equally well.
