Govt to soon link health schemes with Jan Aadhaar

JAIPUR: The health department will soon link all health programmes with Jan Aadhaar including immunisation of children, Rashtriya Swasthya Bal Karyakram, maternal related health programmes. This will help the government to keep records of health-related schemes. Through Jan Aadhaar, the department can check health-related issues of the families linked to it.
“A meeting has already been held with the senior health department officials to ensure that the health programmes get linked with Jan Aadhaar,” said a senior health department official.
The state government has already linked Jan Aadhaar with Chiranjeevi Health Insurance Scheme. To receive benefits of Chiranjeevi scheme, the health department has already made Jan Aadhaar mandatory. It is becoming an even more important document.
