Covid claims another life

Ludhiana: For the second consecutive day, a city resident died of Covid while two tested positive on Saturday, taking the number of active cases to 32. A day before, one person died while one tested positive. Health officials said that a 64-year-old man died at Hero DMC Heart Institute. He was suffering from diabetes and coronary artery disease. Also, he had not been vaccinated. Health officials said that the two patients who tested positive included a patient with influenza like illness and one who tested positive at a hospital OPD. Health officials also said that 1,14,505 Covid cases had been reported from the district so far, of which 15,385 cases were from other states and districts. tnn
