One killed, two injured in head-on collision between 2 two-wheelers at Sancoale

Vasco: A two-wheeler rider died in a head on collision near the St John of the Cross Convent at Sarfona, Sancoale, on Saturday.
Deputy superintendent of police, Vasco, Salim Shaikh, said Mangal Shivram Patel, a native of Uttar Pradesh, collided with another two-wheeler while proceeding towards Vasco from Cortalim. The impact was such that Patel died on the spot, while pillion rider Shailendra Kumar Choudhary, a native of Jharkhand, was critically injured. The other two-wheeler rider — Lalit Mohan, a resident of Headland-Sada and a naval employee — and Choudhary have been shifted to Goa Medical College for treatment.
Verna police have registered an accident case and are carrying out further investigation. TNN
