Man found murdered

Ludhiana: Police on Friday booked an unidentified accused for murder. The complainant, Jaswinder Singh of Dhurkot village, said that his brother Balwinder Singh had a motorcycle repair workshop at Nathowal village . On May 9, Balwinder went to Nathowal village on his motorcycle at 3pm and the same night, Charanjit Singh, his nephew, called and said that Balwinder had fallen down on the link road from Nathowal to Dhurkot. He added that he went to the spot and found his brother lying on the road, bleeding. He rushed Balwinder to a hospital in Raikot where he was declared dead. The complainant said on May 10, he filed a statement at Hathur police station, but came to know that his brother had a fight with some unidentified person at a liquor vend. He said he suspected foul play. tnn
