Stay focused and work hard, say Bokaro toppers
Bokaro: The recently announced CBSE Class 12 board exam results have brought glory to Bokaro as three students from different schools in the district have secured the highest ranks in all three streams — science, commerce and arts. Their success story is an inspiration for many as they attribute their achievement to their hard work, dedication and focused study.
Ashish Ranjan: Future engineer and city topper
Ashish Ranjan, a student of Sri Ayyappa Public School, has secured the top position in the science stream by scoring 97.8% marks. Ashish dreams of serving the country as an engineer. He credits his success to his daily routine of seven to eight hours of study and effective time management. He scored 98 in English, 98 in chemistry, 99 in maths, 95 in physics, 98 in IP and 96 in yoga. He also scored 98 percentile in the JEE Main exam. Ashish advises students to stay away from social media and use WhatsApp only when needed. Apart from studies, Ashish enjoys writing poetry. His father Ranjan Kumar is a DVC employee.
Nikita Ghiria: Future chartered accountant and commerce topper
Nikita Ghiria, a student of Delhi Public School (DPS) Bokaro, has topped the commerce stream by scoring 97.6% marks. Nikita wants to become a successful chartered accountant and contribute to the economic development of the country. She studied for eight hours every day and scored high marks in all subjects. She scored 96 in English, 99 in accountancy, 99 in business studies, 98 in economics and 96 in physical education. Nikita considers her mother as her role model. Apart from studies, Nikita is also fond of cooking. Nikita, daughter of Neeraj Ghiria, a resident of Dumka, a businessman, and Nisha Ghiria, a housewife.
Shruti Kumari: Arts topper
Shruti Kumari, a student of Chinmaya Vidyalaya, has secured the top position in the arts stream by scoring 96.4% marks. Shruti has been working hard towards her goal. She credits her success to her determination and five to six hours of study daily. Shruti scored high marks in all subjects — 94 in English, 94 in history, 98 in political science, 99 in social science, 97 in physical education. Her father, Sumant Kumar Singh, is a government schoolteacher, and her mother is a housewife. Apart from studies, Shruti enjoys playing badminton.
“The success stories of these Bokaro toppers highlight the importance of hard work, dedication, and effective time management. They also emphasise the need to stay away from distractions and focus on studies to achieve success,” said Sanjeev Kumar, a teacher of Chinmaya Vidyalaya.
