Karnataka Shiggaon, Kanakapura Assembly Election 2023 result live: Basavaraj Bommai, DK Shivakumar leading

Karnataka Assembly Election 2023 Result: Early trends are in for nearly all constituencies in Karnataka. In major constituencies of Varuna, Shiggaon and Kanakapura, both BJP and Congress will be wary of any upsets. In Shiggaon, incumbent Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai is leading against Congress’ Pathan Yasir Ahmed Khan but the race is still open. 

On the other hand, Congress state unit chief DK Shivakumar has attained a healthy lead against BJP’s R Ashoka and JD(S)’s B Nagaraju. Early trends for Varuna, the constituency of former CM Siddaramaiah, are still awaited from EC.
