CBSE results: Girls take top slots
Students of Class X and XII celebrate their success in CBSE exams, in Ludhiana on Friday
LUDHIANA: With 99.2% marks, Jasreen Kaur, a commerce student in DAV Public School, BRS Nagar, has topped the district in Class XII examinations, whose results were announced by the Central Board of School Education (CBSE) on Friday.
Second position was shared by Vivaan Garg (non-medical stream) of BCM Arya School, Shastri Nagar, and Ishtmeet Kaur (humanities) of Amrit Indo Canadian Academy with 99% marks in their kitty. Niranjan Kaur of BCM Dugri secured 98.8% in humanities, bagging the third position in the district. After getting back from the school, she used to hold free coaching classes for needy children.
In commerce, Jasreen from DAV School, BRS Nagar, was the topper. The second position was bagged by Saksham Bansal of Kundan Vidya Mandir School with 98.6% marks. The third position was shared by Siya Gupta of Sacred Heart Convent School, Sarbha Nagar, Gehna Nagpal of BCM Arya Model Senior Secondary School, Shastri Nagar, and Harsimar Kaur of Guru Nanak International Public School, Model Town with a score of 98.4%.
In humanities stream, Ishtmeet Kaur of Amrit Indo Canadian Academy scored 99% followed by Niranjan Kaur of BCM Basant Avenue (98.8%). Pranika Jain of Kundan Vidya Mandir School scored 98.2% to bag third position.
In non-medical stream, Vivaan Garg from BCM Arya School scored 99% marks followed by Komal Preet Kaur of Gujranwala Guru Nanak Public School, Rose Garden (98%) and Bhavika Jain of Sacred Heart Convent School (97.6%).
In medical stream, Prabhjeet Singh from DAV School, Pakhowal Road, and Garvit Khanna from DAV Police Lines scored the highest 97.8% marks.
