“Congress was prepared much…”: CM Bommai after trends show BJP trailing in Karnataka

After trends showed Bharatiya Janata Party losing the southern state it had, Karnataka Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai reacted to Congress’ smooth lead over BJP in the Karnataka Assembly Elections on May 13, and said that Congress was preparing for state polls way ahead of BJP. CM Basavraj Bommai who is ruling the state for past three years reacted on the trailing BJP and said, “There have been many factors behind this we will analyse the same…senior leaders of BJP have done enough for the state but somewhere Congress was prepared much ahead than us”Congress has obtained 138 seats in the 224-membered assembly house in comparison to the incumbent BJP which is leading in over 60 seats. Earlier, exit polls too gave a clear edge to Congress party in Karnataka.
