Interactive session held for disabled

Mangaluru: An interactive session for the mentally challenged was held at Riya Foundation, a charitable trust at Kulshekar, that was facilitated by the postgraduate students from the department of journalism and mass communication of St Aloysius College recently.
Resource person Dr Supriya Hegde Aroor, professor and HoD, Father Muller Medical College, conducted the sessions that included engaging games and activities which helped the beneficiaries develop their cognitive and social skills to the best.
Innovative forms of dance competitions and communication activities were held. Later, she addressed the mentors, interns and teachers who were present, saying mentors need more involvement and commitment to do this job, which not all can do. tnn
