Class X exams: Japsnimar, Lochan share top honours in Ludhiana

LUDHIANA: Two city girls — Japsnimar Kaur Dhaliwal of DAV Public School at BRS Nagar and Lochan Bhatiwada of Kundan Vidya Mandir School — emerged toppers in CBSE Class X exams with 99.6% marks. As many as 16,000 students had appeared for Class X in Ludhiana
The second position was shared by Kritika of DAV Public School, BRS Nagar; Vanshika of Sacred Heart Convent School, Sarabha Nagar; and Paramjit Singh Manko of Greenland School, Dugri with 99% marks. Manya Jindal of BCM Arya Model School, Shastri Nagar and Avanijyot Kaur of Sacred Heart Senior Secondary School, BRS Nagar, were third in the district with 98.8% marks.
Japsnimar Kaur Dhaliwal wants to become a doctor. She has enrolled in the medical stream for Class XI. Lochan Bhatiwada has a keen interest in science, which is why she wants to be a scientist in future. Lochan has decided to pursue non-medical in Class XI.
Paramjit of Green Land Convent School, who obtained 99% marks, said he relied on self-study and avoided extra coaching classes. He wants to join the field of architecture or design. He has opted for non-medical stream in Class XI.
Kritika of DAV Public School, BRS Nagar aims to become an engineer. She focused on regular studies. Vanshika, a student at Sacred Heart Convent School in Sarabha Nagar, hopes to become a doctor. So, she has chosen medical stream in Class XI.
Manya Jindal of BCM Arya Model School (Shastri Nagar) has taken admission in non-medical stream as she wants to become a software engineer. Avanijyot Kaur of Sacred Heart Senior Secondary School too wants to become an engineer.
