EPS cuts 200kg cake on his 69th bday

SALEM: AIADMK general secretary Edappadi K Palaniswami celebrated his 69th birthday at his hometown in Salem on Friday, giving away welfare assistance to scores of people.
Flanked by the party functionaries and cadres, he cut a giant cake weighing 200kg at his residence. Later, he distributed uniforms to auto drivers, saree and dhotis for the party cadres, and sweets to the public, who gathered in large numbers in front of his house.
Various political leaders, including state BJP president K Annamalai, greeted EPS on his birthday. “I pray to the almighty to bless him with good health and a long life to continue serving people,” said Annamalai in his tweet.
AIADMK functionaries organised celebrations at the party offices in Chennai and Coimbatore, where they distributed sweets to the public.
