Hosea Burton is looking at the end of his boxing career after a brutal stoppage from Ellis Zorro on Friday night.

Tyson Fury's cousin Burton, 34, told reporters he would consider retirement if he suffered defeat to fellow cruiserweight Zorro at York Hall.

But despite an even contest in the opening six rounds, Burton was floored by a huge right hand in the seventh.

Both fighters were covered in blood and began to struggle with fatigue when Zorro mustered up a sensational finish.

Having already thrown Burton to the canvas earlier in the round, Zorro pushed his opponent onto the ropes and delivered a vicious shot to end the fight.

It could mark the end of the road for Burton, given his comments before the bout.

"If I can’t beat somebody like [Ellis Zorro], what good am I doing being a boxer," he had said pre-fight.

"I can earn more money going to work."
