Rossman Cruz Verna secured a place in the quarter finals of the all goa intervillage football tournament 2nd Betalbatim Villager’s Cup with a commanding 3-0 victory over St Anthony Colva at the Village Panchayat Ground in Betalbatim on Thursday.

The first goal of the match was scored by Imam Guledgudda, who put Rossman Cruz Verna ahead in the first half. In the second half, Desmond Pereira took over and scored two more goals for his team, sealing their victory and earning him the Man of the Match award.

St Anthony Colva tried their best to get back into the game, but they were unable to break through the solid defence of Rossman Cruz Verna.

The victory was a result of Rossman Cruz Verna’s disciplined and coordinated gameplay, which kept the pressure on St Anthony Colva throughout the match. With this win, Rossman Cruz Verna has cemented its position as one of the top teams in the tournament and will now face a tough challenge in the quarter finals.
