Sarpanches to meet CM today, may end protest

Jaipur: Representatives of Rajasthan Sarpanch Sangh will meet CM Ashok Gehlot on Saturday morning over their demand to release development grants amounting to Rs 4,033 crore. They may withdraw their protest after meeting the CM, said sources.
Members of the sangh met rural development and panchayati raj minister Ramesh Chand Meena and officials of the department on Friday and reached an agreement on most of their demands.
The mahapadao of ministerial employees at Mansarovar continued on Friday as their talks with the government remained inconclusive. Representatives of Rajasthan Ministerial Employees Federation (RMEF) met RTDC chairman Dharmendra Singh Rathore on Friday. TNN
