CHENNAI: The Tamil Nadu government on Saturday posted additional chief secretary J Radhakrishnan as commissioner of the Greater Chennai Corporation. Radhakrishnan was Chennai Corporation commissioner from January 19, 2000 to June 4, 2001 when chief minister M K Stalin was the mayor.
GCC commissioner Gagandeep Singh Bedi has been transferred and posted as principal secretary of the health and family welfare department vice P Senthil Kumar. Senthil Kumar has become principal secretary of rural development and panchayat raj department.
An order issued by chief secretary V Irai Anbu said finance secretary N Muruganandam and secretary I to chief minister T Udhayachandran have swapped their posts.
P Amudha has become principal secretary of the home, prohibition and excise department replacing additional chief secretary K Phanindra Reddy, who will now steer the transport department.
Additional chief secretary K Gopal has been posted as vigilance commissioner and commissioner for administrative reforms.
PWD secretary K Manivasan and tourism, culture and religious department secretary B Chandra Mohan have swapped their posts.
Public secretary D Jagannathan has been posted as secretary of cooperation, food and consumer protection department, while school education commissioner K Nanthakumar has been posted as secretary of human resources management.
Mythili K Rajendran has become commissioner of Indian medicine and homoeopathy vice Ganesh, who has been posted as director of economics and statistics held additionally by Vikram Kapur.
