Power supply likely to be hit in some north Delhi localities till May 15

NEW DELHI: The power supply may be affected in some North Delhi areas like Bawana, Rohini, Wazirpur, Shalimar Bagh and their adjoining areas between Saturday and Monday.
Delhi Transco Limited said that National Highway Authority of India was constructing a six-lane Urban Extension Road-2 from National Highway 1 to Karala-Kanjhawala Road under PM Gati Shakti Project. For the construction of the road, the height of 220 KV Bawana-Shalimar Bagh power transmission line of Delhi Transco needs to be raised. "Therefore, this line will be under shutdown for three days from May 13 to May 15," it said.
