NOIDA: Taking note of delay in development work in 118 public schools under Kayakalp project and phase 1 of the smart village project, GNIDA CEO Ritu Maheshwari directed officials on Thursday to blacklist the companies that have been allotted work. These companies have been fined multiple times earlier.
In Greater Noida, the authority will soon impose heavy penalties on the firms who do not complete the work in time after receiving the tender.
The CEO also told the GM level officials to give adverse entries to the junior engineer and managers and to issue a final warning to the senior manager in case of excessive negligence in work from the work circles.She further asked the department heads to award tenders where the process is completed by May 25.
"The work of all circles will be reviewed after a few days and action will be taken against officials if the work pace is not improved," the CEO said.
During the review meeting, the officials told the CEO that the tender process takes time awaiting approval. On this, the CEO directed the GM project to fix a time frame for regular meetings of the committee, so that the files are approved on time.
During the meeting, the delay in construction of 243 identified ponds under the Kayakalp project in Greater Noida villages was also highlighted.
In order to solve the traffic problem at Gaur Chowk in Greater Noida West, the CEO asked the officials to finalise the tender process and establish a site office by this month.
Apart from finalising the infrastructure related works in industrial sectors of Greater Noida, the officials have been asked to ensure that no advertisements are displayed on public walls.
