One person in custody, deputies searching for others in Marion Oaks shooting death
MARION OAKS — Marion County Sheriff's Office deputies have apprehended one person and are looking for others in connection with a Friday night shooting death.
According to deputies, they received a call at 7:18 p.m. about a shooting in the 600 block of Marion Oaks Boulevard.
When they arrived, they saw the victim, who was then transported to a local hospital. Deputies said the injured person, identified only as a male, was pronounced deceased at the facility.

Authorities have not released any details about the individual who died, the circumstances surrounding his death, or whether he lived in the area. His name was not released.
One person, Ehren Evens Volcy, 18, has been charged so far in connection with the shooting.
