Gurgaon records 12 new Covid cases, positivity at 0.9%

GURGAON: The city recorded 12 new Covid cases on Thursday while the positivity rate was reported at 0.92%.
The city currently has 196 active cases, out of which five patients are hospitalised. A total of 1,308 samples were tested in Gurgaon in the last 24 hours.
April saw 8,979 Covid cases as compared to 584 in March and 54 in February.
In Gurgaon, a total of 1,035 patients have died of Covid by now, 709 had comorbidities.
Meanwhile, Haryana recorded 51 new Covid cases on Thursday while the positivity rate was at 1%. The state’s active count is at 442 and 5,145 samples were tested in the state in the last 24 hours.
The total number of Covid-19 positive cases in the state has reached 10,78,576 and the total numbers of deaths recorded till date are 10,747.
In the state, 10,67,364 persons have been discharged after treatment. As far as vaccination is concerned, the total coverage of vaccination in the state is 4,55,42,894 till date. A total of 5,145 samples were taken on Thursday by the state run laboratories.
