Pradhan advised students not to lose heart to those students who might not have met expectations. “One examination does not define a person’s ability. Keep working hard and chase your dreams. Success comes to those who never give up,” Pradhan added.

On the outstanding performance of girls, Pradhan said, “Gladdened to learn that this year also girls have outshone boys. More reasons for us as a society to remove all barriers to girls’ education,” Pradhan pointed out.
Teachers said, students of this batch appeared for the board exam for the first time after covid pandemic, in 100% syllabus. “The students of the current batch did not appear for the class X board exam as it was cancelled due to covid pandemic and they were promoted to higher classes on the basis of their past performances. This batch of students also attended maximum online classes. Besides, the students have appeared in the class XII board covering 100% syllabus. This could be the region for the drop in pass percentage this year,” said Anima Das, a teacher at Kendriya Vidyalaya-1 here.
