CBSE Board Exam Results 2023: Students from smaller towns top in Prayagraj region

Students from smaller towns in UP have performed well in the CBSE class 10 and 12 exams, as shown by the exam results of the Prayagraj region. Rishabh Raj of Central Hindu Boys School, Varanasi, topped the region in class 12 with a score of 99%, followed by Aditi Mishra of Raj English School, Shivpurava, Varanasi, who scored 98.8%, and Shreya Kasera of GD Global School, Azamgarh, who scored 98.6%.

Prayagraj: Maintaining the trend of this year’s UP Board results, students from smaller towns of the state like Pratapgarh, Mirzapur, Azamgarh, Raebareli and Varanasi have proved their mettle also in results of class 10 and 12 of the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) of Prayagraj region declared on Friday.
In the list of meritorious students of class 12 of Prayagraj region, which caters to 48 districts of the state, Rishabh Raj of Central Hindu Boys School, Varanasi has topped the region with 99% marks. Aditi Mishra, also from Varanasi bagged the second position by scoring 98.8% marks. She is a student of Raj English School, Shivpurava, Varanasi. At the third place is Shreya Kasera of GD Global school, Azamgrah who scored 98.6% marks.
The only student from the state capital, Ayush Mishra of Eram Public College, shared the third position in the meritorious list with 98.6% marks.
While none of the students from Prayagraj feature in the top four position holders in class 12, Varanasi has done exceptionally well as six students from this holy city are among the list of meritorious students. In fact, four students from Varanasi have scored 492/500 marks and have made their city proud in the region. Shubham Upadhyay of Mirzapur too has scored 492 marks out of 500.
In terms of class 10th result, CBSE has shared the list of 20 meritorious students who have performed exceptionally well. Bipasana Bhattacharya of Kendriya Vidyalaya, IIT-Kanpur has scored 98.8% marks. She is flowed closely with Snigdha Paul of DPS Bithoor, Kanpur who scored 98.6%. Just few marks behind is Shreyansh Giri of PNB Public School, Pratapgarh and Arjavi Tripathi of DPS, Varanasi. Both these students have scored 98.4% marks.
From Prayagraj, Shreya Singh of Army Public School, Old Cantt too has performed well and have scored 98.2% marks. This student is also the district topper.
