Malayalam superstar prithviraj Sukumaran has reacted strongly to a news report. In this report, it was alleged that he was making a propaganda film and he had to pay a fine of Rs 25 crore to the Enforcement Directorate (ED). A YouTube channel released a report claiming that prithviraj Sukumaran had received money from some sources in the Middle east which were being probed by the Enforcement Directorate. The report further added that well-known producers antony perumbavoor and Listin stephen were also being probed by the ED.

It has been alleged on behalf of this channel that black money is coming to kerala from the Middle east through malayalam cinema. The report also claimed that some people in the industry were facilitating the process.

Prithviraj Sukumaran has condemned these allegations on social media. "The allegations are completely false, malicious, and defamatory," he wrote. He also informed that he will take legal action against the YouTube channel. The actor also said that both civil and criminal cases would be filed against the channel. Expressing anger in his post, the actor said that there is a limit to lying in the name of news.

Prithviraj wrote on social media, "I generally ignore these because words like "ethical journalism" are becoming increasingly redundant in the times we live in. But there is a limit to the spread of lies in the name of news. This is a battle that I will fight till the end. Going to file civil and criminal defamation charges. Let me tell you all that I have not paid any fine.
