LONDON—The tech entrepreneur once hailed as Britain’s Bill Gates was extradited to the U.S., a year after a U.K. judge ruled he had duped HP into overpaying for his software company.
Mike Lynch was extradited on Thursday, according to a statement from Britain’s Home Office on Friday. He faces criminal charges on multiple counts, including conspiracy and wire fraud related to the sale of his company Autonomy to HP.
