OnePlus unveiled the Ace 2 powered by the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 in February and followed up with the Dimensity 9000-powered Ace 2V in March. Now we learn the brand is working on a Pro model, which will have the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip at the helm.

The word comes from reliable tipster Digital Chat Station, who also claimed the OnePlus Ace 2 Pro would pack a 1.5k curved screen, which "seems to have something new" and is being tested by BOE.

DCS didn't divulge other specs of the OnePlus Ace 2 Pro, but rumors have it the smartphone will share the cameras and battery with the Ace 2. If true, the Ace 2 Pro will come with a 5,000 mAh battery and feature four cameras - 50MP primary, 8MP ultrawide, 2MP macro, and 16MP selfie.

You can check the detailed specs comparison of the OnePlus Ace 2 and Ace 2V here while we await more details about the Ace 2 Pro.

if we got a SD 8 G2 phone for $400, that thing would sell like hotcakes. maybe a 2 camera design and 1080p display to save costs. heck even 8mp would be fine at that price point

8 Gen 2 with 8mp UW and 2mp macro??
