CHENNAI: Greater Chennai Corporation mayor R Priya on Friday gifted watches to 10 Class XII state board exam toppers in corporation schools.
Those who received the watches include M H Road GCC school student N Gayathri, who scored 592 out of 600, S Dhavasiyammal, A Monisha, P Vishu Varadhan, S Vishali, T Ashwini, M Nasreen Begam, S Shreya, G Durga and S Riswana.
During the event, deputy mayor Mahesh Kumar, city corporation commissioner Gagandeep Singh Bedi and deputy commissioner (education) Saranya Ari were present.
