Delhi police busted three extortion modules of Goldy Brar-Lawrence Bishnoi gang on Friday. The police arrested eight people in the matter and recovered six weapons from the site, said Crime Branch.
“A total of 8 people have been apprehended and 6 weapons recovered. Goldy Brar-Lawrence Bishnoi gang members are using juveniles for extortion," said Crime Branch.
Notably, gangster Lawrence Bishnoi was recently sent to Sabarmati Central jail in judicial custody after his police remand in the Heroin case got over. The gangster was arrested by the Gujarat Anti-Terrorist Squad in relation with the seizure of heroin worth ₹194.97 crore off the Jakhau Coast in September.
He is under arrest in the case where six people were caught with heroin worth ₹194.47 crore. Those people were arrested when they were about to deliver the package from their boat in the limits of Indian waters.
