Roblox Criticized by Children’s Advertising Watchdog

An advertising industry watchdog said videogame company Roblox violated the group’s guidelines for marketing to children younger than 13.

The Children’s Advertising Review Unit, a division of self-regulatory business organization BBB National Programs, said Friday it found that Roblox hadn’t adequately disclosed to young users that certain content within games was advertising.
