2 gambling on IPL held in Barmer

Jaisalmer: Police in Balotra town of Barmer district arrested two men while they were gambling on IPL cricket matches sitting in a car. Police said they recovered a laptop, a master online ID, 4 mobile phones, and diaries lisitng bank account transactions of nearly Rs 18 lakh.
Barmer SP Digant Anand said that based on a tip from an informer, the Balotra police nabbed the two punters at about midnight on Wednesday. SHO Ugamraj Soi received information that Haji Ajruddin, a punter, was travelling in his car to Balotra. Police stopped the car and after a search that found incriminating items, detained Ajrudin and Sikandar. TNN
