Haryana minister Anil Vij suspends 5 health dept employees in Mullana

AMBALA: Haryana health minister Anil Vij, while returning from the inauguration ceremony of Mukund Lal Civil District Hospital in Yamunanagar, conducted a surprise inspection at the Community Health Center (CHC) in Mullana on Thursday afternoon.
As soon as he entered the CHC, the home minister Anil Vij found doctors and staff missing, which made him angry.
The minister checked the attendance register of doctors and staff, checked on the spot, and directed to suspend five employees including two women employees who were absent.
The minister also reprimanded the doctors and other staff. He also questioned the staff regarding the CHC being vacant.
Anil Vij inspected the general ward, and the staff was found missing from their chairs. On this, Vij called out the staff and asked, "Is there any staff in the hospital". After some time, doctors reached the spot and spoke to the minister.
During this, the minister asked them about the missing staff and to bring the attendance register.
Anil Vij went to the general ward and interacted with the patients admitted there.
