Share price of Voltas rises as Nifty strengthens

Shares of Voltas Ltd. gained 0.41 per cent to Rs 810.6 in Thursday's trade as of 12:57PM (IST).

The stock hit a high price of Rs 812.0 and low of Rs 805.95 during the session.

The return on equity (ROE) for the stock stood at 2.47 per cent. Traded volume on the counter stood at 12:57PM shares and turnover at Rs 0.66 crore around that time.

The stock of Voltas Ltd. quoted a 52-week high and 52-week low prices of Rs 1073.55 and Rs 737.6, respectively.

The Beta value of the counter, which measures its volatility in relation to the broader market, stood at 1.17.

Promotor/FII Holding
Promoters held 30.3 per cent stake in the company as of 31-Mar-2023, while FIIs held 20.58 per cent and domestic institutional investors had 32.69 per cent.

Key Financials
The company reported consolidated sales of Rs 3003.46 crore for the quarter ended 31-Mar-2023, up 47.5 per cent from previous quarter's Rs 2036.27 crore and up 11.08 per cent from the year-ago quarter's Rs 2703.78 crore.

Net profit after tax for the latest quarter stood at Rs 143.92 crore, down 21.23 per cent from the same quarter a year ago.
