Panaji, May 11 (KNN) The goa government is planning to set up a MSME Incubation Park at the Verna Industrial Estate in the state, according to a report in The Goan.

The incubation park will be jointly set up by the Goa Industrial Development Corporation (GIDC) and invest India.

Minister for Industries Mauvin Godinho emphasized the importance of the GIDC and Invest India team prioritizing the establishment of an MSME Incubation Park in Verna Industrial Estate, as well as the development of solid waste management facilities in Industrial Estates.

P Pravimal Abhishek, Managing Director GIDC said the synergy between Goa-IDC and Invest India is certain to enhance the Ease of Doing Business in Goa. 

“We have already started working on several fronts and the State Desk will surely boost the capacity of GIDC to deliver on such reforms,” he said.

As per reports, the desk will have at least three dedicated resources deployed with Goa-IDC who will provide inputs for various policy interventions and projects.

Chief Operating Officer of Invest India Priya Rawat said, “Invest India is looking forward to this collaboration with GIDC to increase the ease of doing business through policy reforms and provide end-to-end support in making Goa one of the most investor-friendly destinations in India.”
