Shiv Sena MP (Eknath Shinde faction) Rahul Shewale on May 11 welcomed the Supreme Court’s judgement in the case of disqualification of 16 MLAs belonging to CM Shinde’s Sena. As per him, the Supreme Court said that the decision to appoint a whip can be taken by a political party.“We welcome the Supreme Court's decision... The Supreme Court said that the decision to appoint a whip can be taken by a political party and the Election Commission has given all rights to Eknath Shinde’s party, so now the speaker will take a decision,” Rahul Shewale said.
