HMD Global has launched its latest Nokia smartphone in India, the Nokia C22 which is a budget smartphone priced at ₹7,999. The features and highlights of the smartphone include a IP52 design, 6.5-inch toughened glass display, octa-core CPU with up to 4 GB RAM and 64 GB storage, 5,000 mAh battery, and is powered by Android Go Edition.
The Nokia C22 has a 6.5-inch V-notch display with a resolution of HD+ (1600 × 720 pixels), 20:9 aspect ratio, 60 Hz refresh rate, and is protected by toughened glass. The phone has IP52 splash and dust protection, 2.5D toughened glass, and rigid metal chassis housed within a strong polycarbonate unibody design. It has 8.55 mm thickness and is 190 grams in weight. It comes in three color variants – Charcoal, Sand, and Purple.
The Nokia C22 is powered by a 28nm Unisoc SC9863A octa-core CPU clocked at 1.6 GHz, IMG PowerVR GE8322 Graphics and offers in two RAM variants, either 2 GB RAM OR 4 GB RAM, both with 64 GB internal storage that can be expanded via a microSD card.
On the camera’s front, the rear side has dual cameras (13 MP primary + 2 MP macro) with LED Flash and 8 MP on the front side for selfie and video calling needs. On the battery and charging side, the Nokia C22 packs a 5,000 mAh battery with 10W standard charging and promises up to 3 days of battery life.
