...FLOOD WATCH IN EFFECT FROM 7 AM CDT THIS MORNING THROUGH THURSDAY
AFTERNOON...
* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is possible.
* WHERE...Portions of Arkansas, Louisiana and Texas, including the
following counties and parishes, in Arkansas, Columbia, Hempstead,
Lafayette, Miller, Nevada and Union. In Louisiana, Bienville,
Bossier, Caddo, Claiborne, De Soto, Lincoln, Natchitoches, Red
River, Sabine, Union and Webster. In Texas, Angelina, Bowie, Cass,
Gregg, Harrison, Marion, Nacogdoches, Panola, Rusk, Sabine, San
Augustine and Shelby.
* WHEN...From 7 AM CDT this morning through Thursday afternoon.
* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- Showers and thunderstorms resulting in heavy rainfall can be
expected through early Thursday afternoon with rain amounts
averaging 2-3 inches and isolated higher totals in excess of
5 inches possible.
