Saudi Arabia aims becoming hub of global tourism and hospitality

Prince Mansour bin Saad projected that in accordance with the objectives set in Vision 2030 improvement plans, Saudi Arabia will appear as a hub of international tourism and hospitality in the next 10 years.


Bin Saad, who is the assistant secretary-general of the King Faisal Foundation, spoke during a panel dialogue at the Future Hospitality Summit starting in Riyadh on Monday.


Bin Saad is also a board member of Al Khozama Investment Co. He said that hospitality is in their DNA.
He opined that he knows a lot of non-nationals coming in Saudi Arabia who admire the generosity and the warm nature of Saudis.


The King Faisal Foundation official emphasized the diverse cultural, ancient and creative features of the
Kingdom’s tourism backdrop.

Regarding the foundation’s part in furthering the Saudi economy, Bin Saad said that it worked in the arena of education and attempted to assist schools and universities in preparing the young generation for play their part for nationwide growth.


The CEO of the Tourism Development Fund of Saudi Arabia, Qusai Al-Fakhri, said that the tourism segment will need backing from other divisions to recognize its complete prospect.


Al-Fakhri said for realizing the increasing demands of the fast-changing tourism and hospitality segments,
Saudi Arabia is generating funds in association with financial organizations to enable prospective financiers and global companies eager to come in the Saudi market.
