Summer camp valedictory held

Mysuru: The city-based Deepa School organised the valedictory for the second year of the summer camp ‘Vasantha Vaibhava’.
Theatre personality C Basavalingaiah spoke about the benefits of summer camps, and shared views on how to help children in such camps.
Summer camp director Manu, an environment expert, spoke about the activities of the camp like nature walk at Kukkarahalli, activities with seeds and leaves, trips to the natural history museum and pottery, arts, crafts and drama classes.
Children said they had a happy experience at the camp. Experts who were part of the camp were felicitated on the occasion. During the event, children performed various programmes and showed skills learnt during the camp.
Deepa Education and Service Trust vice-president Sadashiva Pujari, secretary VN Sundar, director Balakrishna K and school headmistress Geetha were present.
