FAR be it for me to add to Late-Late-drama-gate, except to state that I too have withdrawn my name from the poisoned chalice … er, opportunity of a lifetime, hosting the long-running chat show, but I’m already feeling sorry for whoever does get it, being, as they are, already second choice.
