Sudha Murty is going to appear on The Kapil Sharma Show this weekend along with
Raveena Tandon and Oscar award winner Guneet Monga. She will leave the audience inspired with her stories.
In the new promo released by the channel, Sudha Murty talked about an incident that happened at the airport 4 to 5 years ago while she was boarding an international flight. She was called 'cattle class' for wearing salwar kameez.
Archana quizzed her about the episode, and Sudha Murty shared, "Chaar paanch saal pehle mein salwar kameez pehni thi aur business class ka ticket tha mere paas. Mein queue mein khadi thi, toh unko laga ki salwaar kameez pehen liya toh didi he, behenji he... Arrey cattle-class log hain. Unko kya pata hai economy ke logo ko business class mein aane.. Mein jaake unko puch liya, ki what is 'cattle-class'? (4 to5 years ago, I was wearing a suit at the airport, I had a business class ticket and was standing in the queue, so some thought I must be poor and said, 'Oh they are cattle-class people. How will they know what is business class? So I went up to them and asked 'What is cattle-class?'"
She then gave examples of mathematician Manjul Bhargav and Mother Teresa who were known for the work they did. She said that is what class is. "Class maane apne kaam mein shraddha rakhe aur accha kaam karte hai na woh class log hote hai. Paise mein nahi hai, ki economy class maane kam class (Class means how devoted you are to your work and how well you do it)." She also added that Kapil is the definition of class for his outstanding work in the field of comedy.
This made everyone break into an applause. Kapil bowed and thanked her for the appreciation. It's not just this, the previous promos of the show see Sudha Murty talking about how her father was considered to be out of his mind for allowing her to do engineering back in the day. He was told that she'd never get married if he did so.
Sudha also talked about her first meeting with husband Narayan Murty who she thought would be handsome and dashing. She revealed they met through a common friend.
