Demolition of Agonda houses postponed again

Canacona: The 78 houses on Canacona commu-nidade land in Agonda that are facing demolition got a reprieve yet again after the demolition was postponed for a third time.
Following court directions, the administrator of comunidades (south) had initially schedueld the demolition on April 18, but was postponed due to non-availability of police force in view of the G20 meeting. The occupants have also approached the court.
