Ford Park will soon host its second professional mixed martial arts event of the year.

After making its Beaumont debut at Ford Park in February, the Peak Fighting Championship will return on August 26 for another professional card. Beaumont native Trent Ebarb is scheduled to fight. Ebarb made his professional debut in February, defeating Juan Chavana.

The rest of the August 26 fight card has yet to be announced.

“We look forward to this second event at Ford Park as we continue to grow the promotion in the Golden Triangle and bring the best action and entertainment possible," said Peak Fighting president Jonny Ross.

The Peak Fighting Championship was founded in 2018 as a promotion aiming to give fighters optimal exposure. The promotion's event in February saw Malik Lewis and Paulo Silva fight for the lightweight championship, while Impa Kasangaway and Tiago Mônaco Tosato squared off in a middleweight title bout.

Tickets for the August 26 card are now on sale at fordpark.com.
