NATIONAL SUMMARY
Thunderstorms capable of producing flooding downpours, hail,
damaging wind gusts and even an isolated tornado will rumble
from South Dakota to central Oklahoma tomorrow. A steady and
soaking rain can fall in eastern Montana and into Wyoming,
with showers in western and central Montana. Thunderstorms
are likely in central and eastern Texas and much of
Louisiana. Rain will become heavier in parts of Texas by
Friday night and into the weekend, with flooding likely.
Spottier thunderstorms are expected in Mississippi, but
activity can be a bit more numerous in Alabama and much of
Florida. Warmth will begin to build in the West, with much
higher temperatures expected by the weekend. Much of the
Great Lakes, Ohio Valley and Northeast are likely to have a
dry day.
