Pakistan Minister accuses Imran Khan's party of joining ‘tribe of terrorists’ by abandoning politics

Imran Khan and other suspects are being charged with the misuse of funds sent by the National Crime Agency (NCA) of Britain, amounting to Rs. 50 billion or 190 million pounds at the time.
Pakistan's Minister for Planning and Development Ahsan Iqbal as criticized the PTI for its actions against parliament, the military, and PTV following the arrest of former PM Imran Khan, ANI reported.
He stated that the PTI has separated itself from the realm of politics and aligned itself with terrorist groups.
Taking to his official Twitter handle, Ahsan Iqbal wrote, "PTI today in Pakistan has removed itself from the tribe of politics and joined it in the tribe of terrorists. Made the enemies of Pakistan happy. First the attack on PTV, then the attack on the parliament and now the attack on the military organization and what is called terrorism? Foreign funding does not come for free."
According to Geo News, protests broke out in various cities across Pakistan following the arrest of PTI chairman Imran Khan on Tuesday. PTI workers organized demonstrations in Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Lahore, Karachi, Gujranwala, Faisalabad, Multan, Peshawar, and Mardan.
In the area of Nursery in Karachi, there were confrontations between protestors and the police, during which the protestors threw stones at police vehicles and damaged street lights. The police reportedly used tear gas shells to disperse the protesters.
In Lahore, Faizabad, Bannu, and Peshawar, supporters of PTI were heard chanting slogans such as "Release Imran Khan" and "Shut down Pakistan." However, a violent incident occurred during a protest rally in Quetta, resulting in the death of one PTI worker and injuries to six others due to gunfire, as reported by The Express Tribune.
As per The Express Tribune, followers of ex-PM Imran Khan obstructed the Quetta Airport Road to express their dissatisfaction with his detainment. During a rally organized by PTI, a shooting occurred, leading to casualties. A senior police officer, who preferred to remain anonymous as he lacked the authorization to talk to the media, disclosed this information.

Geo News has reported that the Islamabad High Court (IHC) has declared the arrest of former PM Imran Khan to be lawful. The IHC Chief Justice, Aamer Farooq, who had initially questioned the Rangers' decision to apprehend Imran Khan from the court premises on Tuesday, announced the reserved verdict.
