Betalbatim: Betalbatim Sporting Club emerged victorious over CAC Cansaulim with a 1-0 win in the 2nd Villager’s Cup, played at the Betalbatim ground on Wednesday.

The first half of the match ended in a goalless draw with both teams struggling to break the deadlock. However, in the second half, Betalbatim Sporting Club came out strong and managed to score the only goal of the match in the 58th minute.

It was Selroy Fernandes who scored the much-needed goal for Betalbatim Sporting Club. The team’s persistent efforts paid off as they successfully kept a clean sheet and managed to secure their win.

CAC Cansaulim tried their best to equalize, but Betalbatim Sporting Club’s solid defense proved to be too strong for them.

The victory has propelled Betalbatim Sporting Club into the next round of the tournament, much to the delight of their fans.
